All public and shared spaces inside and outside the property has got security camera for the security and safety of all guests.
Check in time is generally 2 – 6 PM and special arrangement can be made for late or early check ins if possible
Check out is at 10.00AM – 11.30AM unless prior arrangements between management and guests are made. Wherever possible we are happy to oblige with late check out or storing your properties in the office until you pick up.
Generally Self check in facility is available and guests will be provided with access code for main entrance and seperate keys for their rooms.
We would appreciate if you kindly contact us the day before to handle the checking out, returning the key and collecting the refundable key deposit.
All early departures will be charged the full room rate for all nights reserved.
Broadband and Wi-Fi
High speed Fiber broad band is available in the property
To comply with requirements our facility is smoke free. We appreciate individual’s right to smoke and ask that they do this outside the units.
Laundry available before 9PM.
Guests are welcome to use our laundry facilities located in the bathroom next to Room No 4. There are cloth lines at the back garden which can be used. The dryer can be used if necessary and we ask that the dryer is used with consideration as it can take high electricity consumption.
We have 2 smart TVs available in the main and small lounges. When using the TVs please kindly keep the sound volume low to an appropriate level in consideration of other guests.
It’s an accepted rule of this guest house that all guests shall extend a general curtsey to other guests. Please be considerate of other guests.
Guests are asked to avoid gathering in the hallways as this often creates excessive noise which disturbs other guests.
Keeping the room doors closed at all times would minimize noise disturbances to others.
Please limit the noise level prior to 8AM and 10 PM. While we understand that you may have friends/relatives visit they must vacate the complex no later than 10PM (unless prior arrangement has been made with management)
Please no guests prior to 8AM or after 10PM as this will deemed that your visitors have resided here overnight. In this situation registered guest may be billed for the said extra as an extra guest.
Moderate level of alcohol consumption is only permitted inside the rooms and is prohibited in all other commonly shared areas of the guest house.
Use of Kitchen and Lounge areas
You can use the kitchen area for the preparation of food.
Please ensure to clean the area after preparation of food or dining at the dining table.
The car park inside the property is only for guests registered with car park facility. While spare car park can be used generally others can park off street.
Each room is limited to the number of guests registered in the room at the time of
check in. Extra charges will be made
Should housekeeping find any rooms damaged, in any way, the guest house will charge the credit card responsible for the room for all damages and/or cleanup fees.
Pets are not permitted on hotel property.
If a complaint occurs due to the negligence of those occupying a guest room, disorderly conduct, unlawful activities, or repeated noise complaints, the offending guests may be evicted and/or receive additional charges to their account. If a guest is evicted, they are not entitled to any refund. If damages occur to the guest room or other areas of the hotel, the cost of the damage will be charged to the credit card registered upon check-in.
Parents and guardians are personally and legally responsible for children at all times. Please do not leave children unattended in guest rooms or anywhere on guest house property. Children are 8 and under sleep free in the guestroom with existing bedding together with parent.
Privacy, Use of personal information
The Bucklands Beach Guest House is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the personal information of our guests. The information has been collected directly from you, either from information supplied while making the reservation, information supplied through a previous stay and retrieved from guest history, or from providing the information upon check-in. The personal information collected from you is saved in a guest history database. Whenever you make a reservation online or phone in to make a reservation, this information is available to the Guest Services agent. . Guest history also tells us other information from your previous stays (date, type of room, package, etc.). This information enables the guest house to better meet your personal preferences from previous stays. The Bucklands beach guest house will not sell or share your personal information to others.
